【Food & Resources Centre】Home Visits to Deliver Care Packages and Greeting Cards

Yuk Ching Charity Trust continues to fulfill its commitment to caring for society. On 25 April 2026, the charity once again organized its regular door-to-door home visit for elderly residents. Through face-to-face interactions and the distribution of essential supplies, we hope to bring our most sincere regards and warmth to elderly individuals living alone or those in need.

The success of this activity would not have been possible without strong support from all sectors of the community. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the volunteers from the following four groups, whose selfless dedication helped make this event happen (listed without any particular order):

  • Agency for Volunteer Service
  • Island Harborview Volunteer Team – (Family Group)
  • City Point Volunteer Team (Family Group)
  • Labor Department

This event was filled with a warm atmosphere of intergenerational inclusion. In particular, we would like to express our special appreciation to residents of Island Harborview volunteer and their children. They put their creativity and love into crafting heartfelt greeting cards for the elderly. Each card carries the pure and sincere blessings of the children, so that when the elderly receive the supplies, they also feel the care and respect coming from the younger generation.

The smiles of our elderly participants are our motivation to move forward. Yuk Ching Charity will continue to work hand in hand with partners from all walks of life to build a more inclusive and caring community.

Once again, thank you to all volunteers and partner organizations for your support. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next event.
